Happy Summer! I hope that this months blog inspires you to take look inside of all God is doing for you in this season you find yourself in Maybe you have not had much of a chance to enjoy the sights, smell and sounds of summer but take just a minute to get a cup of coffee or a cup of tea and join me on my journey today.
As I find myself in the middle of summer, it has not been anything but normal; kind of like how this year has been since March. However, I have been taking time to just jump in the car, go for a drive where I usually end up in my happy place in York Beach, Maine and a walk along the ocean shore, enjoying the sunshine, the ocean waves and even the sand between my toes. Not that I love the sand as my family will tell you, but the ocean I love. I love to swim in it, taste the salt water in my mouth and feel it on my skin.
About a week ago, I was praying for a ministry friend of mine for her upcoming services and I heard myself pray this phrase ” an infusion of God’s strength, God’s glory and God’s presence” It was that word “infusion” that caught my attention. So I immediately looked up the definition of infusion. It means a pouring into something that gives new life or significance. I thought, “Wow, God! You want to pour your strength, pour in your glory and pour in your presence into that service!” I shared this with my friend and over the next few days I pondered this word “infusion” and what God had said. and then, I heard that still small voice way down on the inside of my heart say ” I am giving you an infusion of my strength, my glory and my presence in your life.” I began to take a deeper look into the word “infusion”!
In a medical condition, an infusion or an IV is a specific treatment used to get the medicine directly, into your blood stream to help your cells digest what your body needs to heal. That medicine is being “poured into” your body and can be absorbed directly to provide healing. But Jesus already provided healing for us spirit, soul and body. His healing power is being infused into our body through believing His word. ( Is. 53:5 , 1 Peter 2:24)
The process of infusion, like in tea, allows the plant to be “poured into” with hot water expressing the flavor of the tea or essential oil left in the water. Once the process has started it can not be separated. The same is the process in God’s love for us.
Romans 8:38-39 says: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NOTHING can separate you from Him! His love is constantly being pour into your heart! Let Him take you deeper in knowing His love to you, His love for you, His love in you and His love flowing through you to others.
Let God pour into you, infuse you with His love, His healing power, His strength, His might and His presence! Blessings to you today!
I loved this Kristen. I love words from Heaven. It’s the BEST!
